Terms of Service
Last updated October 13, 2026
Agreement
These terms govern your use of Rpute, the website at rpute.com and the related services we operate. By creating an account, writing a review, or otherwise using Rpute, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Rpute lets people leave anonymous professional feedback about people they have worked with, and lets the subject of a review read that feedback. Features may change, and we may add, remove, or limit parts of the service at any time.
Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use Rpute.
Reviews
You may review only people you have actually worked with, and only on the basis of your own experience. Reviews must be honest. Do not include private information that the subject would not reasonably expect in professional feedback, and do not include information about anyone else who is not the subject.
Reviews are shown without the reviewer's name. That anonymity is a feature of the product. It does not prevent Rpute from storing the account that submitted a review, moderating content, or responding to a valid legal request.
You grant Rpute a non-exclusive license to host, display, and otherwise use the reviews and other content you submit, for as long as needed to operate the service. You keep ownership of your content.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- Impersonate another person or create a fake account.
- Submit reviews you know are false, or reviews of people you have not worked with.
- Harass, threaten, or defame anyone.
- Attempt to identify an anonymous reviewer, or to break anonymity.
- Scrape, probe, or interfere with the service, or use it in violation of the law.
We may remove content, limit features, or close an account that breaks these terms.
Disclaimers
Rpute is a place for opinions from people who say they worked together. We do not verify every review, and we do not guarantee that a review is accurate, complete, or current. The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Rpute and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars.
Ending use
You may stop using Rpute at any time. We may suspend or end access if we believe you have broken these terms, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive, including licenses you have granted, disclaimers, and limits on liability, will survive.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page will change when we do. If you keep using Rpute after an update, you accept the updated terms.
